Tip for Defendants

Hello Mr. Parker & community,

Hope all is well. I noticed in Virginia when you fight these collection lawsuits, after you go through 1st hearing, respond to Bill of Particulars, & while awaiting the trial date, I noticed that the original creditors will switch law firms at the last minute. Most of the time they wonโ€™t even let the court know or even send you a formal notice. Pointing that out on day of court is another strategy that one could use to help their case. Judges really donโ€™t like when creditors do that. Itโ€™s actually against Virginia law to do that. Just wanted to share that with you.

Thank you. Study the rules and get the specific one on the record that appear to violate. Some good consumer appeals have come out of Virginia.
