I had a pre-trial scheduled, I put it on my calendar but put the wrong date. I was sick at the time, alot going on. The judgement was defaulted. Icalled the clerk of court and they told me to go to the court and submit a letter. I did that. Ireceived an email and I'm set for a anon evidentiary trial on 11/20. I thought once defaulted, that's it. What is this for ?
Also Velocity neversentmeproof or submitted to the court proof they purchased this debt Just copies of my loan documents no signature. What do I do?

Check your state rules on the timeliness to file a Motion to Set Aside. Do it right away as most states require it be done within a certain amount of time. On a practical level, the Court will give you lee way the sooner to the date of default that you file the motion.
